Newport Ship Golden Rum

The Newport Medieval Ship is a fifteenth century merchant vessel unearthed in the heart of Newport in 2002. The ship was a formidable three-masted craft measuring over 30 metres in length and capable of carrying around 200 tons of cargo. This premium golden rum was created by Spirit of Wales Distillery to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the find.

BLACK IPA - 6.1%

Arnodin's Ale pays tribute to Ferdinand Arnodin, the innovative engineer behind Newport's iconic Transporter Bridge. This commanding 6.1% ABV Black IPA is as bold and distinctive as the historic structure itself. Like the bridge that spans the River Usk, this brew masterfully connects contrasting elements - intense roasted malts meet bright, citrusy hops, while hints of dark chocolate and coffee harmonize with pine notes. Each sip of this engineering marvel delivers a robust yet smooth experience that would make its French namesake proud.
